You can visit the profile page of the venue that you are interested in and click on the button "Check Availability" to get the venue availability for your event date.

8 factors to select the right venue

Location

No matter how appealing a venue is, if it’s not easily accessible, then it’s probably not the right fit for you. For an intimate wedding, you may be looking for a wedding venue that’s within a reasonable distance from most guests. Similarly, if many attendees are traveling from out of town, a venue near the airport will be beneficial. In both cases, you’ll have to consider traffic, transportation and parking options. All in all, you’re supposed to find a venue that is both convenient and cost-effective!

Space and seating availability

This is a fundamental question to be answered. If a venue is smaller than the space you need, you’re going to have an obvious congestion problem. But if it’s too big, then the wedding functions will look dull and empty. You need a wedding venue that’s just the right size for the number of people attending your wedding. It should be sized in a way that the wedding venue feels cozy and comfortable.

When selecting your wedding venue, always select a place which has both indoor & outdoor space to host your functions. Some venues come with a ceremony coordinator, while some don’t. Having a coordinator ensures your day runs smoothly. The coordinator can also help resolve any hiccup on the day of. If the wedding venue offers one, then that’s great. If not, then you may want to consider hiring one within your budget. Or you can just consider choosing a venue that has event coordinators to help with your pre-wedding functions. Similarly, you have to ensure your guests are taken care of by keeping a balanced amount of staff & security that’ll be ready to cater to your event requirements.

Before planning your event with a venue, ensure that the venue is equipped with several basic amenities. Always inquire about the services a wedding venue provides you. From parking spaces to bathrooms, many facilities are required to hold a smooth-running event at a wedding venue. If required, get in touch with an external event company to help plan your event efficiently and effectively.

Dealing With Different Weathers

When it comes to Indian weddings, every season is the wedding season. So, whether you're getting married in summer, monsoon or winter, you need to plan it accordingly. If it's a summer wedding, you need to arrange for an air conditioner or maybe an indoor setting area. If it's a monsoon wedding, you need to prepare for rain showers and if it's a winter wedding, you need to prepare yourself for the winter chill. Similarly, you need to have a plan B in case the weather decides to behave unpredictably on the wedding day. Therefore, ensure that whichever venue you choose, they should be well-equipped to deal with any kind of weather conditions.

Technical Arrangements

Weddings today require a lot of technical arrangements to get going. Basic technological facilities like Wi-Fi and AV equipment are available at almost all venues. However, with the rise of the tech world and the growing prevalence of event technology, more is needed. If you are planning to host a sizable event, make sure to enquire about any additional technological facilities available as well.
